Epilation is an intervention in the follicle with a special professional device (most often a laser), which is designed to disrupt the function of hair growth and possibly stop this growth. Regardless of which hair removal method is used, the hair follicle is completely destroyed, which guarantees a long-lasting result.
But keep in mind: you will need several visits to the laser studio to achieve the desired effect. All body hair is in different stages of development – anagen (growth), catagen (dying of the roots) and telogen (rest). With epilation, we can only affect those hairs that are in the anagen phase, i.e. in active growth.
During depilation, the visible part of the hair is removed or it is removed along with the root, but this method of hair removal does not affect or disrupt the growth of follicles. This means that the effect is temporary and the hair will grow back.
